The Knowledge House is partnering with Project Z to expand into the Washington, D.C. Metro area and Baltimore, MD. According to DC’s Workforce Investment Council, high-demand sectors in the region include STEM and Business and Office Administration. The D.C. Metro area is home to technology-focused consulting firms and companies such as Booz Allen Hamilton and Amazon. However, there is a significant wealth gap between households in the area, and workers from underserved communities face unemployment rates higher than the national average. TKH and Project Z are strategically positioned to address these challenges by providing essential workforce development support and creating opportunities for residents in the region.
